Jobs: Many of us are currently looking for work, or nervous about whether we’ll get a job this summer, when we graduate, or whether we’ll keep our current position. Here are some things we’re doing to help.
- Promoting one million new national service jobs in areas such as nursing, teaching, disaster relief, infrastructure repair, etc. (Join the campaign here)
- Supporting young entrepreneurs and saving you money through our Buy Young campaign. Check it out (click here) to get great deals on products made by young Americans.
Voting: One of the reasons our leaders don’t represent our needs well is because they assume we don’t vote. We also don’t have the cash to fund their campaigns, so they are more accountable to big bankers and corporate CEOs than the majority of us. This is unacceptable. Here is what we’re doing about it:
- Partnering with popular brands and celebrities to give you a voter registration tool with information about how, where, when, and why you should get involved. (Click here)
- Answering any FAQs you have about the voting process/laws. Take me to the FAQs
- Translating the news each day in plain English so you can understand the major issues. Check out the translations
