POLL SHOWS GENERATION GAP ON ISSUES OF IMMIGRATION REFORM
A CNN/ ORC International poll released today shows a 17 point generation gap when it comes to support for the Senate Immigration Reform bill.
Americans under thirty-five tend to favor the legislation, while senior citizens tend to oppose it.
There is also a generational divide in beliefs on what policies are more important: border security or a pathway to citizenship. Younger Americans are split on what’s most important while previous Americans believe increasing border security should be the top priority.
