Johanna Berkson
Chief of Staff – Johanna Berkson is a NY native who came to the DC area for college. After following the intense 2000 presidential campaign during college, she decided to switch career paths from sports casting to public service hoping to advocate for the many issues she is passionate about. Shortly after graduating from the University of Maryland she volunteered on a hotly contested congressional campaign and when her candidate won she joined his staff on Capitol Hill where she remained for the next 8 years. Having learned the critical need to engage our young electorate, she jumped at the idea to join the OUR TIME team where she plans to remain for the next 8 years or however long it takes to engage all young Americans to take ownership of our futures. GO TERPS!
