In 2007-2009, 25% of young adults aged 20 to 34 lived with their parents.
Young adults with graduate degrees have the lowest rate of living at home- 9%.
WHY WE CARE
The main trends that lead to young adults living with their parents are financial insecurity and student loan debt.
Americans across the geographical, racial, and economic spectrum are being affected, which means millions of young Americans are delaying the beginning of their independent adult lives.
